Below you'll find editing prices and a rundown of what to expect from my services. (It's extensive, so bear with me.)
Services perfect for your developmental editing and proof reading needs. Whether you're a new author looking for guidance, or a seasoned writer seeking a fresh perspective, I'm here to help polish your work to perfection.
Trust my editing services to enhance your writing and bring out the best in your work. Concentrating on character arcs, plot holes, plot pace, inconsistencies and a general feel for your manuscript, I'm dedicated to helping you achieve your writing goals and help you stand out as a polished writer.
I also offer a flat rate for proof reading, no matter the size of manuscript. This will be a trimmed down edit where I will concentrate solely on any errors.
If you're booked in for developmental edits, I will pick out any errors I come across - this is built into the cost.
I don't work on pence per word, as I find this stifles your creativity, but instead work on word banding.

Lastly, it's becoming increasingly more important to point out that I don't use AI in any of my services. I never have, and I never will.

| Firstly, you'll get in touch via social media or email through the contact form below. We can discuss availability and what you're expecting from our adventure together. | |
| It's here you might ask for a sample edit in order to see if we vibe. I'm happy to do this, though it will only tell half of the story. You'll receive edits back on your first chapter for free, but it won't come with the extensive word document I will put together at the end of each manuscript. | |
| Great! You've decided to work with me! Next I'll email over a questionnaire for you to fill in. This is where you'll tell me about your manuscript so that I can get a feel for it, plus how many words I'm editing, so that I can book you in with enough time. | |
| Depending on when you're booked in, you'll either send over your manuscript right away or on the date we've discussed. If you're manuscript is ready, don't be afraid to send it over early. I'll keep it safe, but I'll always start the next client where possible. You never know, you might receive it back earlier than discussed! | |
| Now you sit back and relax, whilst I get to work! I'll be reading through your manuscript with a finetooth comb, checking for points discussed, making comments in the margins. When I've finished reading, I'll compile the notes I've made whilst reading into a handy word document that'll be clear, concise, and summarising what I've found. There will also be suggestions on the direction you can take...sometimes multiple suggestions. | |
| I don't offer a second edit, but what I do offer is unlimited after edit help. If you're going through my edits and something doesn't make sense...reach out. If you've acted on my suggestions and you'd like a second opinon...reach out. Just because my work is done, it doesn't mean you're on your own. | |
| Lastly, you've finished your edits and you're ready to publish. I will always interact and re-post as you set about the daunting task of marketing your book. If I miss a post, don't be afraid to give me a little nudge. I'm your hype-girl for life! |
